Muntajat reinforces its commitment to serving and promoting Qatar’s Chemical and Petrochemical Products in China

Doha, Qatar – 20 May 2015:

Muntajat, Qatar Chemical and Petrochemical Marketing and Distribution Company Q.J.S.C., returned to China for a third year in a row to promote Qatar’s downstream products at Asia’s largest plastic and rubber trade fair, ChinaPlas.

ChinaPlas 2015 was held from the 20th to the 23rd of May in Guangzhou. Considered as the 2nd most influential petrochemical exhibition in the world, Chinaplas brought together over 3,100 exhibitors from 39 countries and over one hundred thousand visitors.

At the exhibition, Muntajat welcomed a large number of visitors to its stand. The company introduced its rich and diversified portfolio that holds the full range of Polyethylene products including Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) and Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) marketed under the Lotrène® brand and the High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) sold under the Marlex® brand. On the first evening of Chinaplas, Muntajat hosted a special dinner to honor and strengthen relationships with its China based customers.

Commenting on the company’s participation, Mr. Abdulrahman Ali Al-Abdulla, the Chief Executive Officer of Muntajat, said: “ We are delighted to return to ChinaPlas to represent and promote Qatar’s downstream products. Last year, Muntajat sold its largest share of polymers to China, amounting to 472,273 Mertric tonnes of Chemicals and Petrochemicals.”
